Re: PATRON — The Man In The Green Velvet Coat
Any new news on this patron book? I was looking at the unpretty version this morning and it reminded me how much I am looking forward to the pretty version.

Re: Pits of Sezrekan?
The Seven Pits of Sezrekan has not been published in its entirety. The seventh & final pit (plus the two areas that were least explored when 7PoS debuted at GenCon 2014) were included in print in the 2015 Goodman Games GenCon Program Guide - pages 65-82. So if I snag that I have the 7th pit. We...

Pits of Sezrekan?
Is this published anywhere? I have read posts referring to it as being a tournament game (and I think it was mentioned in a podcast or two) - but I haven't seen it on any list.
Is it available to us muggles who didn't make it to Gary Con and such?

Re: Your book being stolen. Well that sucks. If you send me your RPGNow email address to info at purplesorcerer dot com, I'll send you a code to purchase the book at cost... if you're ever in mind to replace your copy. (Still not cheap, but the least I can do.) I appreciate the offer and may take y...

Re: Advice needed: school club with variable attendance
I ended up following some advice and simply saying: You know and I know that any weird reason I give for not all the characters being here is really because some kids didn't show. So let's all agree to ignore it. Lol And I was going to run Sunken City from the premium book I ordered. But so,entire l...

Re: What are your top 10 DCC third-party products?
Based on the recommendations above I picked up the hardback of the Sunken City Omnibus. Even setting aside how great a module it is - this is a really nicely printed book. I got the deluxe edition and was impressed with the paper and how colorful it is.

Grimtooth Dungeon module release date?
Has this been delayed? I saw it in an issue of Game Trade Magazine a few months back and it had a listed release date of January. Has it been delayed? I a mostly checking to see if my local game shop is being slow, with my pre-order or if it hasn't been released to the wild yet.

Re: Beyond the Silver Scream at Garycon
I went ahead and bought the Metal Edition PDF. Then printed it on a color copier. It looks *really* good. I will buy the physical copy later but the Metal version is well worth the four bucks.

When you eventually have physical copies for sale will they include the PDF or should we buy them separately?

Re: What are your top 10 DCC third-party products?
I am a collector so have bought more than I could ever play. But I want to echo some of what was said. Carnival of the Damned - this is an amazing adventure imo. It could be treated as a series of encounters. It can be run as a long adventure with a shockingly engaging story (shocking in that the th...

I know I said this on your blog post but I absolutely can't wait till it is available to general public and I can add it to my collection. It looks so incredibly fun.

Re: Advice needed: school club with variable attendance
I was waiting till after the Kickstarter was announced at GaryCon to order that Sunken City book. I didn't want to spend funds that I might need to kickstart Mutant Crawl Classics! Since it wasn't announced though I will probably order the hardback of the Sunken City modules this week and start givi...

Re: Advice needed: school club with variable attendance
If you have A Red and Pleasant Land , there is a usable table in there to explain mysterious comings and goings of characters. It would fit the Prince Charming background admirably. I do not have that one. Who published it? I am not averse to buying things to integrate (especially things that give ...

Re: Advice needed: school club with variable attendance
That is kind of what I was thinking. Some sort of trivial explanation to connect everything together. I might steal the mist from Carnival of the Damned as the mechanism and just add it to Prince Charming.

Advice needed: school club with variable attendance
I sponsor a school club and have ran one DCC module for a handful of kids. They loved it. I advertised more and ended up with six kids. So I started Prince Charming and have the other released modules in that story lined up. Then this week I had four of the previous six not show... But got like 10 n...

Re: The Carnival of the Damned is Now Available!
I bought this last week and am waiting for the hard copy... but have been reading the pdf version now. It is *really* good. I absolutely love the mood. I love how dark it is without making me think it is a Hot Topic teen buying ICP concert gear. I found several of the things to be really clever. Mec...

Re: Chained Coffin discussion on Designers & Discourses
Great episode that absolutely whetted my appetite even more for the box set. Then I got the set this afternoon and have been devouring it. One of these days I want to meet Michael Curtis, shake his hand, and personally thank him. I can't rave enough about how fantastic it was to see little bits of m...

Ok, I wondered what the Gen Con guide was and whether it was all DCC or whatnot. I have been collecting the various zines but wanted to keep up on official Goodman Games stuff.
Thanks!

Re: Newbie question about HD stats and hp numbers in modules
HD are rolled to determine hit points; hit points are the number rolled. So, for instance, a 0 level character has HD 1d4; hp 2 if he rolled a 2 for his hit points. The Hit Die information gives you an idea about the power of a creature, but is most likely used for determining what chart to roll on...

Newbie question about HD stats and hp numbers in modules
I feel like I am misunderstanding something and can't find anything in the rulebook... probably due to being a total newbie. Doesn't HD mean Hit Dice and you roll those to get the number of hitpoints for the character? That is what I thought till I went through several modules I recently purchased a...

Re: Playing DCC in school? I just started. Anyone else?
Made it a touch further in the Tomb today. So far one kid has lost 3/4 characters due to stupidity. Another boy has also lost 3/4 due to terrible die rolls. The girl is playing it more carefully and has maintained all four characters. Of note, I had my first person actually upset his character died....
