Re: Thief Action Dice
Some Judges, including some I have experienced personally, will not allow you to use backstab with another character acting as a distraction. Or say... don't let you "backstab" with a ranged weapon, even though it is technically allowed by the rules. Boo on this...if a thief makes the nec...

Re: mighty deed disadvantage
Is there any disadvantage to declaring a mighty deed with every attack? As I understand the rules, a warrior or dwarf may declare a mighty deed with every attack and if the deed roll is 3 or higher and the attack lands, the mighty deed takes effect. If the deed roll is less than 3 then no big deal,...

Re: Anything new in Croaking Fane sketch cover edition?
For those interested, I wrote The Forgotten Library of the Toadfiend. A single room encounter for any dungeon or dire temple dedicated to the Evil Lord of Amphibians. It can be found in Vol. 5 of the The 2016 Gongfarmer's Almanac. Although it is a single room, there is enough to interest players for...

Re: Best approach for a one-off game?
I gave everyone a 1st level character and a couple of zeros, this way they can experience both the fantastic DCC game mechanics (deeds, magic, healing, disapproval, corruption, etc.) and the spirit/flavour of DCC with the funnel and character death.

Limited edition gold foil DCC demon-skull logo cover!!! Why? Because I cant find one of these anywhere. I might actually find the holy grail before I find one of these. That's the point of the limited edition. But I would be happy to see the demon-skull logo cover too. How about doing it in silver ...

Do you mean like this? http://www.rpgnow.com/product/147952/Steel-and-Fury-DCC I picked Steel and Fury up yesterday and am very pleased with it. I printed off the PDF and had it spiral bound at Kinko's. I really like making my own hard copies of the PDFs I buy from RPG Now. Spiral binding beats the...
