A very sad day.....I can only offer my thanks to Gary for introducing me to roleplaying 30 years ago with the blue-cover D&D book - still got it somewhere, going to have to dig it out and reminisce for a while. Thanks Gary for 30 years (so far) of fun!!

There, hope that helps. I kinda needed a Marut, anyway. Hope you make it to Gen Con! Gah! You suck! :( Said in a friendly, yet VERY jealous, tone of voice of course - jeez, you miss a day or two's posts here and you're screwed :) (checks ebay for completed items) Wait a minute....BIN price w...

My group should reach the pearl room next weekend.....we left it last week at a cliffhanger point; the room with the holes had slammed the doors shut on one party member with the other two still outside (I have three players, a Rogue, a Swashbuckler and a Beguiler - I've been rolling the dice as the...

I see there is now official blurb about the adventure up on the front page!! Cool!! So the rotating map is going to be included in the module such that it actually rotates? Presumably with some sort of ring thing holding it to the back cover? It would be good if it could come away from the module wi...

Problem is his club does something like 2d8+7 damage, enough to take out most of the group in one hit. So he "lost" his club, and can only punch. A lot less damage that way.... Wow....I made that comment over a year ago :) In the end we went with Idylls and had a blast. Might be starting ...

Another regular on the forums is None the Wiser. He makes insane 3-D renderings of the adventures, which can go a long way towards helping your players invision the environs. In fact, this very site has, on the Dungeon Crawl Classics page, a list of the DCC modules organised by level - should help make things a little easier, especially given the relatively large amount of low-level adventures. Funny that you should mention that. My group doesn't have any experience with Cthulhu (which was why I wanted a D&D or D20 game instead). Learning the game mechanics to a new system wasn't conducive to a one-shot adventure. Normally I would agree but if there is a simple system more conducive t...

Just curious, since the Gazetteer of course was DCC#35 even though if anything could stand alone it would be that :) Besides, putting a number on it encourages the anal collector types (myself among them) to get it ...
