They were lying - just got another email saying basically 'sorry, we just checked and we no longer have that item in stock'. Did yours get mailed, Ben? You must have managed to grab the last one as I feared.....

DCC - what's next?

Hey guys, Yes, I know most of us (myself included) are still waiting for the general release of the Known Realms set and the two preceding modules, but I'd like to know what's coming up next for the DCC line? It seems like we've been drooling over these images (DCC 32-35) long enough now - I want ne...

Interesting stats! I feel bad for the Fighting Mongoose - TPK on round 1? That's gotta suck!

I think Sipla is a 'Killer GM' - only ran three games, and all three are in the bottom five out of twenty-eight? With a 66% kill rate between the three games? OUCH :)

Well, got a confirmation email from them saying it was being sent out so hopefully we're both in good shape - thanks very much for the offer though!

I concur that either of the two 'small' modules or something from The Adventure Begins would be best for a single night session.....unless you're hardcore and plan on playing until the sun comes up or something :)

They seemed to have fun while also getting the snot beat outta them. They could tell I wasn't pulling punches and would have killed a PC (or the entire group) had they mis-stepped, so were very much on edge. This is the best kind of game - if the players are triumphant, it makes it all the sweeter ...

Funny how sometimes you can find some things easily and other times it's hard - I can't locate a 3.5 to save my life, and the last 20.5 on ebay I was outbid on, but I do have 12.5 and 0. Go figure :)

I wonder if GG ever thought there was be demand like this for OOP DCCs when they started the line :D

Any of those signed by the author? I think the only more complete collection would be one where Joe Goodman, Jeff Quinn, Dave Arneson or Harley signed some of your modules.... Hmmm....... :D :D :D  Well, not everyone can be a superfan! Ben "supefan" Waxman ok, in honesty, this wonde...

I can understand that, Bobrunnicles, but I think Toper's maps are about as authentic looking as you can get in a fantasy world. They look like what you'd get if you went if download Google Áereth. :) Hey, I'm not saying I *prefer* Harley's maps, just that I thought they were pretty cool in their ow...

Since I wasn't at GenCon and thus don't have the real maps yet () I'd just like to say that in their absence I actually really like Harley's hand-drawn maps. But then I'm also a big fan of the old Judge's Guild Wilderlands maps, which looked hand drawn on parchment paper (albeit with a hex gri...

All three of the others mentioned do actually already have minis available in the WOTC's D&D minis line as well, although it will probably cost you a few bucks to get hold of them (the Displacer Beast is an old one, the Beholder was pretty rare, the Mind Flayer might not be toooooo bad as I thin...

I can only speculate, but I don't think there will be plans for future supplements until it is known how the campaign setting is received. If fans want more..well then, by all means bombard Harley Stroh and Joseph Goodman with demands. :D Already planning on it :) Even if there wasn't going to be a...

I have a question about DCC world that came to me the other day as I was reviewing other campaign worlds - do you guys have any plans to make a 'Player's Guide To Aereth' or similar? Maybe a download (free or otherwise, I would pick it up either way), or a separate print product completely? It would...

And if you can find it, read DCC #10: The Sunless Garden, too. That one includes a gnome with snorkel and green swim trunks, and the cross-dressing smuggler captain with his top-secret wardrobe and sewing room... As you can tell, I also enjoy Brendan's writing. :) Ooh, you just had to stick the kni...

[thread hijack mode disengaged] Tisk, tisk. This discussion is about the forthcoming DCC Known World. We'll have no more of this talk about: the smell of...GIANTS the officially very cool product that is coming out in August or Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum, I smell the ink on a Giants adventure If there's going...

So Harley, what's the thing that's coming out in August? You can't taunt us like this! Not trying to be mean, but the adventure is still in the final production stages. For the hard rollers still playing 1e, the *cough* "conversion" *cough* will be very easy. Look for it at GenCon, or off...

I liked quite a number of the adventures here a LOT, and there are yet more I haven't read yet. That said, I do also think that someone on the other board made a good point, something like this but for high level (or even mid-to-high level) would ROCK totally.

I also agree. In my campaign I only allow players to use the Player's Handbook (well, I just added the Player's Handbook II to the list of "open" books and I hope I don't regret that). There is plenty of stuff in just the Core to play an entire campaign. I have to admit though, the demon ...

Basically what's happening is that everyone can make their own game now, so a 3E session often turns into a bunch of individuals running their own agendas instead of a team banding together, etc. etc., but that's just one fellow's opinion. That's where there needs to be more like tyrannical DMs lik...

I started off collecting the pdfs (1-19) because no-one in my area was carrying the hardcopies. Then one day I found a store that had some and was immediately sucked in by the familiar old-school format (two 6' bookcases at home are LINED with TSR Basic, 1st Ed and 2nd D&D/AD&D modules, book...

This is encouraging though:

"DCC #10: The Sunless Garden: Only one printing, which sold out. We’re planning a second printing in late 2006 or early 2007. "

Cool :)
