Samll Problem with DCC 52
Flipping through the book I noticed that my back cover has the map for DCC 49 on it in the Wastes not the location of 52. Not a big deal but a heads up if you print a second run sometime.

Little add on to the story. After defeating the Witch and claiming the Forge as their own for now the group (good aligned) decided to save the slaves. We need food for that they say. Food. Food. Meat. Dragon meat. Hey maybe we should feed the slaves some of ole Sty. I was about to start changing ali...

DCC 17- A shocking Stygoth fight
I started my group on DCC17 this last weekend. They are a group of 6 (3 3rd levels and 3 4ths). They trek through the swamp and find the wagaon tracks. They follow them until the sounds of battle discribed in the first area. Stygoth starts his attacks. Me being the nice DM that I am move him in and ...

Were you the one whose entire party died, so you trudged forward by yourself? Awesome. Now THAT is heroic. As for the orb puzzle...don't worry about it. We had a whole team of 4 to help us, and we spent an hour and a half in that room...and I love puzzles (which may have been part of the problem......

Which is all I ask. I like that results are posted and that those that run the games come and talk about them and take criticisms and suggestions. Can I run a better event? Not even close, but I can give a perspective from those at the bottom. Last place this year and second to last the year before....

Ok so next year we will just run in, split the group up so that we cover more rooms at once and all just run around until we are close to dead and then say we quit to get the exploration points and not the death penalty. Sounds like a plan. Will we advance probably not but since it seems like a tact...

Here is one thing to think about. Technically a team could sit down to start and as soon as time starts say they quit and have 0 points. Now because of that this year they would have ranked 20th. For doing nothing at all they would beat 4 other teams that tried and tested the gamed and tried to play...

Crying and calling uncle?
Sorry to say it but that is total bull. If you are going to let teams do that than annouce it prior to the event as would have saved us a death. Sure we still wouldn't have advanced but that is one less death to our total. If just giving up is an option now because the group missed an item and can't...

The problem with the big die was, at least for our die, that all the low numbers were on one half, all the highs on the other. In stead of the 19 being next to the 1 and the 2 next to the 20 they all shifted. I have seen other dice like that so that is why I looked at it closer after it took 16 roun...

I have the other 2 1774 and no you can't have them, but you are in luck. The great folks running this event don't mind (at least last year they didn't) if you different even numbers as long as you all have the same time. Last year my group had 3 different event numbers but we still got to play toget...

Ok. So I am a bit of a daze now. I just looked at the event catalog for RPGs to see where all the games are located because of the ticket print screw up and the scatter effect in placement. I am a little worried now. Just looking at the tourney 1st round the games are in 3 different locations. Union...

We made it past that room searched around and then decided to go back. It was the last thing we decided to do. Hmmm...that sounds familiar...you weren't in the Lords of the Atlas, were you? No. I wish we did that good. I was in the second to last group, The Fighting Mongooses (the guy who came up w...
