Re: Land of the Lost...

If you're into Land of the Lost, get a copy of the 2nd issue of "Metal Gods of Ur-Hadad". There's an adventure called Secrets of the Serpent Moon that is one of my favorite adventures ever for DCC.

Re: Art prints for DCC modules available?

My solution was to contact the artist directly. I was so in love with the cover of the adventure "Neon Knights" that I emailed Doug Kovacs and asked if he could sell me either the original or a print of it. He said someone already has the original but he could sell a print. The price was q...

Re: help with some issues in "Through the Dragonwall" advent

Thanks, Raven_Crowking. As so often happens, my players totally short circuited things and never even explored the dragon side of the wall. The wizard convinced Rishi the Handmaiden to give him some of the empress' hair, which was easy enough. Then while standing right next to the Dragonglass, so as...

Re: Purple Planet - how do players learn how to get home?

Now that's it's been over a year since you ran it, I'm curious. How did your players figure out how to get home?

In my game, we just finished Neon Knights, and the PCs got stuck on the Purple Planet, so we're sorta committed to playing the 4th level hexcrawl now.

help with some issues in "Through the Dragonwall" adventure

Hi, I'm judge of a group that's currently playing "Through the Dragonwall". We're a session and a half in, and I was just reading the rest of the adventure yesterday, when I got really confused about some things. And I realized it's due to errors in the module. Could you help me sort out w...

Re: Found an ... unusual "Hole in the Sky" writeup

Awesome! Sounds like fun. I'm going to pass this on to my players who just finished Hole in the Sky last week. Was it as much of a blast as it seems like from reading the module? Yeah, it was fun. It took us three sessions to play the whole thing. In the first session, most of the party died. And t...

Quick update: I'm making good progress compiling all this into a nicely-formatted and spell-checked PDF. I'll share a draft of it here once I'm done, and you can all see what you think.

Re: Hole In The Sky: Lady In Blue as Patron? *spoiler warnin

Did you ever integrate the suggestions and put together a master version of this in PDF or web page format? If not, I may volunteer to do that, assuming at least one of my players wants to use Lady in Blue as a patron. Also, did you consider writing up anything about Drezzta?

Note also page 126: Automatic corruption: Offering one’s own mortal shell for the consumption of supernatural powers can greatly aid a casting but is extremely painful. Any casting ritual where the caster offers to voluntarily accept corruption can add an extra +2 to +6 bonus to the spell check res...

Re: where has all the classic space sci fi gone

Yes, I remember the games you're talking about. I run a Classic Traveller game every other week. There is a small but violently defensive community of aging Traveller gamers on Facebook, for what it's worth. It would be amusing to read a Dungeon Crawl Traveller, but it would be an odd beast. Travell...

Re: Spellburn for 20

This was the topic I submitted on the G+ group in the "ways to break the game" category that Spellburn Podcast turned into an episode. And they liked my technique enough to use it in the show: http://spellburn.com/2017/01/10/episode-46-breaking-the-game/ My interpretation - both as a playe...

Re: The God Ramat from Brave Halfling

I have more, (including a ritual a 0 level character can go through to become a cleric of Ramat), but they are currently written notes. They should be available in the next month or so. Did this ever happen? In other words, did the notes get written into something to share? I just ran Ruins of Rama...

What's the latest on this? Are they now shipping? Where can I order them? I looked in four different pages on Goodman's site and can't find any mention of these dice.

Denver, CO - DCC RPG biweekly game

The funnel I ran for Free RPG Game turned into an ongoing DCC RPG game at my apartment in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver. We play roughly every other week, on Saturdays from noon to 5pm. We have room for one more player, if you'd like to come join in the fun. I'm using mostly pre-gen advent...

Re: A Community Experiment - Calling all Colorado players

It looks like the Yahoo Group doesn't exist anymore. I'm in central Denver and would like to join or start a DCC RPG game, or some similar retro fantasy game (OSRIC, etc.). I've been in touch with a couple of people locally, but I haven't found critical mass to put together something regular yet. Le...
