Free RPG Day - Last Call
Last chance to get yourself onto this year's Sanctum Secorum Free RPG Day poster. While we do update our online list up to the last minute, the poster will go live tomorrow. So, if you are running DCC/MCC for Free RPG Day this weekend? Let us know! Wondering what I'm talking about? Check out last ye...

Free RPG Day - Who is Running, and where?
Just what it says on the label. I'm putting together the annual Sanctum Secorum game-finder list.

Re: Sanctum Secorum - Missing Downloads
I cannot explain the issue you are having. The links on the main sanctum page are pulling from that archive page that you are having trouble with. But, so long as you are able to get the shows, all is well.

Re: Transylvanian Adventures Status
Only the core book and a single adventure were ever published for Transylvanian Adventures. There are rumblings that it may make a comeback, but nothing confirmed.

Re: Sanctum Secorum - Missing Downloads
<appears in a puff of smoke smelling faintly of old books> Episode links not working? That is indeed odd. As far as I can tell, all episodes are properly online and available. I'll take a look but, if you could point me towards a specific episode that you are having issues with, it might be quite he...

Re: Stomp the typo / Errata & FAQ
One of my fellow players who just recently bought the book noticed something a little strange with ranged weapons. Does anyone know why, in DCC, crossbows have a better range than longbows? Shortbows, longbows, and crossbows all do the same damage (which keeps things simple) but the crossbow is lis...

Re: Longbow vs Crossbow
Has any checked the "Stomp the typo" thread about this issue? If it hasn't been covered there, then this issue should be posted there. Probably with more likelihood of being noticed by someone that can actually provide a definitive answer/correction. I hadn't looked there. Having checked,...

Re: Longbow vs Crossbow
I'm not certain I'm sure what you mean by that.
All three items doing the same damage? That's great.
All three items having differing ranges and the item that, IRL, fires further NOT being the weapon that fires furthest? That's a bit of an odd duck.

Re: Brave Halfling Publishing: Appendix N Adventures
My wife got her materials (not the stretch goals, but the actual kick-started materials). It took a lot of emailing and complaining, but they did come. They are all digest sized, but they ARE good adventures. That is the double-sided issue here. One really needs to chase, hound, and be the squeaky w...

Having recently read all three of the Logan's novels, I was thinking the EXACT same thing myself....JonHook wrote:I'm already thinking about how to use a Logan's Run type of society in one of the city areas of the ship.

Yeah, my wife emailed and was told she'd have a tracking number by the end of the week....last week.
So...Subscribers? Getting their shipments.
Backers? Maybe not so much.

Re: Brave Halfling Publishing: Appendix N Adventures
Needless to say, even if I ever get a shred of paper from John, there is no way in the green grass on my front lawn (covered in snow at the moment) that I will ever purchase another product from Brave Halfling Publishing, and I seriously have to question the mental sanity of anyone who ever does in...

Re: Brave Halfling Publishing: Appendix N Adventures
Fritz, I hope they deliver. I also hope they have come to realize that a year and a half late doesn't even begin to approach acceptable. Seeing the PDFs up for sale on RPG Now, and still no hard copies after all this time is pretty frustrating, bordering on infuriating. It is great that they are st...

Re: Etherscope Demo July 21, 2013
Yeah, I might pick up a few more copies of the book to do another demo down the line and give everyone a copy of the book. Sort of like the "Johnny Appleseed" of RPGs. I think that, if I run it again, I myself will have a better understanding of the game mechanics (I'd only gone through th...

Etherscope Demo July 21, 2013
So, having lain hands on the materials, I ran an Etherscope Demo yesterday. It was originally meant to be for Free RPG day but, the DCC game absorbed all players (as it should). The adventure run was Analogue, and I used the pre-genned PCs from Just a delivery. A great time was had by all. One playe...

Re: Limited edition/availabilty
Our local shop is about 50 miles out. The shop is a smaller one and, like many smaller start-up stores, Magic pays the bills and war games most often fill the tables. Like any business, they cater most heavily to their customer base. That said, last year for free RPG day that had a couple copies of ...

Re: Introductions Thread - Join the Band!
Hi there, I've lurked for a while, but my wife insists that I introduce myself if I'm going to post anything. Since she's my DCC GM, I'm not about to risk ticking her off. I'm a native of Chicago, living down in SW Florida, by way of Atlanta, Las Vegas, and too many other places to count. I've been ...
