What I see is:
A PATRONS SUPPLEMENT FOR THE DUNGEON CRAWL CLASSICS ROLE PLAYING GAME
***************************BY GOODMAN GAMES

"*" is for formatting purposes, its empty space on the book cover.

Re: is Angels, Daemons and Beings Between by Goodman Games?

well I got the impression that it was goodman games because it says "by goodman games" and its centered on the page like you'd expect where the author of the book to be. I'm not sure where on the cover it says who its by. Maybe on the far lower right corner there's something but I'm not su...

is Angels, Daemons and Beings Between by Goodman Games?

guyz, congrats on getting this thing out there: http://www.rpgnow.com/product/109995/Angels,-Daemons,-and-Beings-Between?src=FrontPage it looks awesome! I like the Green demon guy. Reminds me of Otus artwork. I'm a little confused as to who the author is though. On the cover, its says "by Goodm...

Re: Durability and Power: comparing Normal Man vs DCC Charac

Hit-for-hit, I'd speculate that a 6th or 7th level Reaver would be the equal of 10 men-at-arms. And I'd extrapolate that a 6th-7th level Warrior would be about the same. You might be right about level 6 or 7. I've done some testing on level 5 and he hasn't won so far. Went down in round 3, 5 and 9....

Re: DCC Boxed Set

Some of us were talking about that on the google plus DCC RPG... thingy. Divide the core rulebook into 3 soft cover manuals, include dice, and a sweet module. Done and done. I think it's a fantastic idea! VS do you think that's feasible? It's hard for me to look at the book and say this section can...

Re: Durability and Power: comparing Normal Man vs DCC Charac

dusky vegetable dude, How many grunts can get a whack at the Warrior at a time? I'd say two to four at most, generally. Sure, 8 folks could crowd around one guy, but can they all swing a weapon and hit him -- without also hitting each other? Can they coordinate what they are doing effectively that ...

Re: Durability and Power: comparing Normal Man vs DCC Charac

nobledragon guy, I got my ol d20 out and some other dice. From what I've found so far, I'm seeing the Warrior go down typically in the 3rd round. I had him go down once in the 2nd round and once in the 4th. I didn't include criticals hits for the Men at Arms, but I probably should have; those early ...

the stuff I just heard about in the big C. went beyond "for mature" into "gross"! :(

the erect weiners might be in the gross area too.

will have to wait...

Re: Anyone running LOTFP modules with DCC??

I wish I could try the stuff out but I have to put them on hold for now. I've been hearing stories of pictures of mens erect weiners being in the books. That and some unsavory stuff associated with Carcosa. I don't want big weiners in my sword and sorcery collection.

you also have to ask if you are running a lot of henchmen for them can you GM right? At what point are you roleplaying too much and the Gm portion starts to suffer?

just don't pull your punches and give your players an opportunity to be DCC Superheroes and it'll be a good lethal game. There isn't any reason your goblin army won't be able to plough through the DCC party if their acting too tough. Just be aggressive and smash em up.

Re: Stayin' Alive!

i guess it depends on what you pit your characters against. People get different results with the game. Not sure why, could be DM styles. Do people who are 1e centric get different results than those who are 4e centric?

Re: Durability and Power: comparing Normal Man vs DCC Charac

you must have some pretty darn good dice there or had a pretty good run on the rolls. I'm going to have to dig up me ol "lucky" d20 I have stashed away. I still can't get these good results where the Warrior whacks everyone, but dang it... I will.

Re: Durability and Power: comparing Normal Man vs DCC Charac

I looked at the Warriors chance of whacking a Man at Arms and he seems to be hitting them 1/3rd of the time. Out of 15 rounds he hit 5 times. I'm going to look for a different dice roller but it doesn't look like he is going to win against 10 of these buggers. Data: ----------- Roll(1d20)+5: 9,+5 To...

I don't know if it was the dice roller I was using or not:

but I was seeing alot of 18+ with it on my round experiments. At round 5 he would have been close to dead!

Re: Durability and Power: comparing Normal Man vs DCC Charac

that was a great post. I am somewhat skeptical that a 3rd level warrior is going to last that long against 10 men at arms, even with the cool stuff mixed in. He gets 1 attack a round and may have something like 18 hp. He'd need 10 rounds to knock those guys out and they might need like 6 hits to tak...

Durability and Power: comparing Normal Man vs DCC Character

Hi guyz, I'm fielding this to you DCCers to get your thoughts on this to. I'm trying to answer the perplexing question of when is a DCC character 10 times as durable/ability to deal damage as a Normal man. The reason is that I'm trying to get a good idea of when a DCC character enters the Hero categ...

because Illrede was a troll! You should be seeing the same sizzling reaction with the sword as with any iron weapon. Illrede had his arms and head chopped off and there wasn't any burning. No burn, no iron.

The witcher character is pretty gritty, he's a monster hunter. Goes around looking for jobs to go and kill monsters off.
