Re: DCC font
If you're on a budget like me, I was able to find some facsimiles on Google Fonts (free): For the small headers/bolding for map keys: Corben For the large headers (this one is way off but has a similar feel) Aladin I wasn't able to find a serif body font that works very well, either the bold is off ...

Re: DCC Game Starting Up in Los Angeles, CA
Spotify is pretty short on Summoning...just 4 songs. Lame.Sveden wrote:You should add some Bathory to that playlist. :] Nordland I and II, Hammerheart etc.
Also some Summoning such as Dol Guldur and Minas Morgul.

Re: DCC Game Starting Up in Los Angeles, CA
Hey Drak, Ya, I've started House ruling the game with a few AD&D elements...like alignment. I just *have* to mess things up. Right now we're just running funnels so far. We had a TPK in Sailors/Starless Sea. That's what happens when you confuse a puzzle encounter with a combat encounter...;) I'm...

DCC Game Starting Up in Los Angeles, CA
I'm starting up a casual DCC game with a few friends in LA. Since I'm pretty much planning on at least some of them flaking out, I'm looking for a few new players just in case. In the event they are all in, I might still be able to add one more player. http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/old-sch...

Re: Can Clerics only know 4 spells or can pick 4 every morni
I've been thinking about this. Each god will have their own list of spells which will basically consist of the Cleric spell list, minus any spells that don't make any sense for the deity they choose, plus a few spells specific to that deity. I'm going to allow my clerics to choose their initial spe...

Re: Starting Cleric spells
On page 110 the book talks about regaining spells for "divine magic after resting and praying to the cleric’s god." For me, I allow the cleric to choose 4 spells for the day at this time. The cleric can then pray for a different set of spells after the next rest and pray period or keep th...

Re: Music of DCC
As promised, here's the Spotify playlist I intend to use. I'll be adding more soon, but some of this stoner metal has *really* long songs. One is 63 minutes, so setting it to shuffle and you should be good for a full session without any repeats. Again, lose the ads, they are horrible esp. for gaming...

Re: Music of DCC
Guys, that's not how Pandora works. It's radio. It only plays similar music, that's how it works. Call me a genre snob then because Nirvana is not what I would describe as similar to Metallica, and yet clicking on my station that I created by typing in "metallica" results in pandora playi...

Re: Music of DCC
Pandora will also play "similar" songs/artists, so you can potentially get a wide range of stuff playing. This can be annoying, as when something that you thumbs-up on one station (Rolling Stones, e.g.) shows up on another (your Nick Drake channel). That is pretty annoying... no where nea...

Re: Music of DCC
Much like DCC itself (an awesome blend of old-school and new-school) these bands pick up where Black Sabbath left off. If you love Black Sabbath and can't understand why there isn't more new bands utilizing their thing (detuned guitars, moody, dark tones) this is gonna change your world. It's what I...

Re: Zocchi Dice Buyer's Guide
BoardGameGeek is down or I'd point you there for feedback on CCG Armory, but the short version is: Be very wary of ordering from them. Horror stories far outnumber good experiences and more than outweigh their generally good prices. I just ordered the limited edition gold foil book from them on the...
