Re: Another Recover the Body Question
I just wrote an eloquent view and then lost it as it said I needed to log in (I had) Grrr... Summary: I worried about stat loss but discovered that clerics have access to Restore Vitality so its not all doom and gloom. We don't allow luck burn now to survive recover the body - each to their own. Thi...

Re: How is everyones stamina holding up? (includes session l
Will discuss with our other players but I think over time perhaps it can be healed or the quest thing ... OK we discussed in tonights session and decided to leave as is and see how it pans out. At the end of the session no one had gone down as it happens - 1 fight against 5 adventure types similar t...

Re: Another Recover the Body Question
I thought theives were unkillable for this very reason but after a session of allowing this we now don't allow theives (or anyone) to burn luck to see if they are actually alive. It certainly solves several issues by ruling this. So thief with luck 14 has to roll under 14 to see if he is alive, can'...

Re: How is everyones stamina holding up? (includes session l
I guess as we level up we will have more chance of getting healed before dropping to 0 and running will be an option. To date one hit is a near death experience even at 2nd level. Mind all our hp rolls are ave or worse. Thief has 7, three warriors about 15, and one has 23. The other issue is if you'...

How is everyones stamina holding up? (includes session link)
Hi all, Just wondering how everyone's characters stamina is holding up after a few sessions? The rules as read state that you lose a permanent point of stamina every time you fall below 0 hp. If you are not attended to in time, you have to roll under luck to actually be alive but one of your three p...

Link to Doom of the Savage Kings Session Part II (Spoilers)
Appologies for the delay: Here is the link to the second (and final) session of DotSK: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/9696238#9696238 We all had a great time playing this one. A couple of short para's at the end of the session describe a conversion and 7th level play session, and a home brew s...

Re: Link to Doom of the Savage Kings Session Part I (Spoiler
Thanks Harley, Andy our DM/Judge is doing a great job, especially as he hasn't done it for years. As I said its been great fun playing DotSK, we have indeed been lucky to date but it says something about the adventure if we can have this much fun when the encounters have not killed anyone yet :twist...

Link to Doom of the Savage Kings Session Part I (Spoilers)
No spoilers comment: Having a lot of fun with DCC RPG and both the intro 0 level adventure in the main book and this one have been well put together. I really like DotSK story, after 3 to 4 hours of play there has been plenty of NPC interaction and I still don't know exactly what's going on in Hirot...

Re: Who needs Read Magic?
My Elf plans to use it in combat as she's discovered that whenever she tries the Read Magic formula taught to her as a child it has a nasty habit of draining the lifeforce from the nearest creature [Mercurial Effect: Necrotic Drain]
