Re: Looking for Players for Thieves World Campaign
Is this game still going? I tried to look on Roll20, but I couldn't find your game.

Re: Curious about the DCC RPG crowd...
I started with the red box Basic set in '91... played that for a while before moving on to Palladium/TMNT/Rifts through high school.

Re: Three Things I Don't Love About DCC
I love DCC more than any game I have played (at least since I was new to the hobby and everything was fresh and exciting), but if I had to pick nits, I guess I'd like additional class options, especially since most settings I would use DCC for would have no demihumans or gods meddling in human affai...

Re: Three Things I Love about DCC
1) the emphasis on the appendix N inspirations... 2) spell-casting 3) mighty deeds of arms It's a game that turns to my favorite flavor of fantasy, with equally cool choices for fighter and magic types. I think I've tried nearly every iteration of D&D out there, and none of them have proven more...

Re: Introductions Thread - Join the Band!
Welcome, Clint! I know all too well what you mean about the "Satanic panic" of the late 80s/early 90s. I wasn't playing D&D at the time, but I spent a lot of time and effort hiding my Rifts and Palladium Fantasy RPG books from my folks... what a pain.

Re: DCC: Warhammer
I agree that the Old World is a great fit with DCC... I dug out my WFRP 1E books in the hopes my players would want to keep playing once we finished the one-shot, and it looks like they're interested. I'd like to see what you've come up with for gods and spells, Scrivener... I have two clerics in th...

Very nice! I should probably try to come up with something similar so I can keep my copy looking good.

Re: Outstanding!
I concur. I haven't run a published module for my friends for ages because so many of them are just awful, but everything about "Sailors on the Starless Sea" is just great. The maps, the encounters, the background... I love it all. My players are really enjoying it, even if we've lost more...

Re: Introductions Thread - Join the Band!
Hi, everyone. I'm Daniel, 32, middle school English teacher and roleplaying enthusiast. My friends didn't play much D&D (I think we tried Red Box once), but we played the heck out of the Palladium family of games - starting with TMNT and then branching out into PFRPG and Rifts. My friends and I ...

Re: Snow White and the Huntsman
I saw this with my wife the other day and I was surprised that I liked pretty much everything about the movie other than Kristen Stewart.
