Re: The Black Hole Cloak
http://mysticbull.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-black-hole-cloak.html In the distant future, Abadel Trank, the halfling nega-sorcerer, found his power waning. Either the universe itself was running out of fuel for magic or someone (or something) was preventing him from reaching the heights that he’d dre...

Cleric Spells
Do clerics get random starting spells like a wizard? Or do they have access to all cleric spells like in most fantasy RPGs?

Zargon! That's really close to what I saw! Still can't find it and I'm beginning to wonder if I dreamt it. The list you've got there, is brilliant! I absolutely love it and will use it in future games.

Acheivements?
I saw a thread a few days ago where the poster mentioned that his GM had a chart of achievements that he would check off and give bonus XP for. While it harkens to the way video games are played today, with trophies and achievements awarded for doing stuff in game, I'm still interested in this conce...

Has anyone used this in your games yet? If so, I was wondering ow good it is. It's only got one review over at DriveThru and it doesn't really say much. Even if you hadn't used it, but read through it, what is your impression? http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/112841/Critters-Creatures--Denizens

Re: Three Things I Don't Love About DCC
My only real beefs with the game are...
1. Zocchi Dice. Ugh.
2. Mercurial Magic. I hate that some of the results can be crippling, especially when attached to an otherwise beneficial spell.
I've done away with it in my game.
Other than that, I really love this game!

What an idiot. LOL! I dropped D&D lik a bad habit when they moved on to 4E. If I want a D&D "fix" these days, I just run Pathfinder. Paizo found the sweet spot!

Patrons for Non-Spellcasters
I remember reading somewhere on these forums that characters other than Elves and Wizards could have Patrons.
How is this possible without access to the Invoke Patron Spell?

Hi there. I'm assuming you used HexMapper to create your world map. I use it as well. I noticed your tiles are way more colorful than what is included in the program. Is there anyway you could send me a copy of your tileset to install in mine?

Okay. So unlike 3.X/Pathfinder, the Wizards in DCC can only ever know a finite number of spells. Am I correct?

Wizards, Known Spells, & Spellbooks
Is there a limit to the number of spells a wizard can learn?
Also, do wizards keep their spells in spellbooks or are they just locked in their minds?

Clerics & Wizards Spells
I'm having a hard time understanding how Wizards and Clerics gain spells. I think I'm mentally just too stuck on how they worked in 3.X. In 3.X/Pathfinder a Cleric has access to all the spells on his list at the levels available. Does it not work this way in DCC? I'm confused about the way the Spell...
