Consider yourself grandfathered in, with all the benefits (and stretch goals) of a KS backer at the early-bird price you paid. :)

Re: AoC 8 - Starfall Over the Plateau of Leng - April 2014

I have the 7th ed. Quick-Start rules (I think it's on Chaosium website, but maybe just for the 7th ed. Kickstarter backers..). Basically the new rules are: -Stats are in % (which is the way we always used them anyway). -Skills are streamlined a bit, not that much. -You can "push" a missed ...

Ombres de Leningrad et autres contes (Sans-Detour)

I just bought the French translation of the first three AoC modules: Ombres de Leningrad et autres contes from the French editors Sans-Detour. Not just a translation, the 144 pages book includes dozens and dozens of 1920s pictures representing the scenarios' locations and NPCs. Also the text adds so...

Re: Patrons supplement Kickstarter live!

Well, at this point, how "illegal/costly" would it be to set up a soft-cover print version of the PDF via Lulu.com or something of the sort ? I guess anybody can do it for himself, if he/she wants to ? Right ? (My sister printed a hard-coverbook of family vacation' pictures a few years bac...

I've been playing CoC on and off for about 25 years now, and for the last two I can't get away from the Cthulhu Invictus setting (Roman Empire).
It,s just so... refreshing!
I don't know how doable is a Goodman module using those rules (???) but that would be MY favorite!

Re: More Adventures...? A query.

2-4 pages adventures seeds/encounters would be cool, from time to time. And a fully fleshed out adventure, maybe once a year ?, would make me happy. also, Looking at old Dragon magazines, some kind of "Sage Advice" or "Leomund's Tiny Hut" column would also be nice. (Of course tha...

Re: Crawl! no.6 Classic Class Collection! Now on Sale!

I've had two players in my last funnel trying desperately to kill off some of their 1-hp characters doing suicidal-like attacks, so they will not become their 1st-level characters. An unbelievable series of "20" and "19" for them and "1" and "2" for me followe...

Great issue for sure! great art too!

There are presently 4 CRAWL! issues in RPGNOW top 10 sellers!
(that's more than there are original D&D PDFs recent re-release!)
Hurrah!

Re: Druid - draft for review and comments

Great start! 3 to 5 new spells would be a must though. As for guidance, maybe use the AD&D 1ed Player's Handbook. In it example of fun spells only available to druids are: - Pass without traces (level 1) - Barkskin (level 2) - Heat Metal (level 2) - Call Lightning (level 3) - Summon Insects (lev...

I'm necroing this thread as Goodman Games DCC convention itinerary is out now.
I'm personally still leaning towards NTRPGCon - 2013 in Dallas, but not entirely decided yet.

Anybody else have new/definite plans ?

Quick necro-ing of this thread, just to add this: I ran Starless Sea tonight and also added an "indestructible" necromancer that presided over the ceremony at the top of the ziggurat. He was eventually killed when the party rescued the last prisoner destined to be sacrificed. One the beast...

Serves a pantheon. Name 5 gods and their concerns. That sequence is quite simply amazing. I don't really know what you meant. Nobody does I guess, but the possibilities here are really endless, game-wise. Of course, that would need a really coherent campaign mythos and very dedicated players to rea...

Re: 3.5 to DCC Character Level Conversion

I agree fully with the two posts above. The adventure in CRAWL! #4 was originally written for AD&D, years ago. Early attempt at a straight "conversion" to DCC RPG was basically a long waste of time. In the end all the stats were rewritten basically from scratch and all the monsters rei...
