Re: Simple houserule for multiclass

It's simple, but raises the question of why a Warrior learning magic suddenly "can't fight" like a Warrior. Raven Crowking's blog has some simple multi-classing rules, where basically you 'skip' a level of advancement, but are now two Classes, like you're 5th level, but it's the abilities...

Re: Using spells from other books?

I'm working on a book of monsters and other things for DCC. One of the monsters I'm working on would like to cast Disguise Self. There is no Disguise Self but there is Altered Visage from the adventure Emirikol was Framed. Can I use this? May I recommend that you just give the monster the powers it...

New monsters are always good, especially ones that vibe with the DCC aesthetic!

Re: non-magical healing

The way we do it is that the dying character makes a Luck check. If they make it, the other character has succeeded, and the fallen PC is alive but groggy, with 1 hp and a -1d die shift for the next hour. That said, I would allow (for example) a healer to make a DC 10 Int check to avoid having the f...

Many Lovecraftian creatures and patrons were created for Weird Frontiers. If you have that monster of a tome, it is an excellent resource.

Right now, there are DCC conversions of a few earlier GG adventures: Well of the Worm, Tower of the Black Pearl, Crypt of the Devil Lich, Dragora's Dungeon, and Curse of the Kingspire.

You are very welcome.

I find DCC to be awesome as a sandbox game. Lots of the bells & whistles are built for the sandbox, AFAICT.

Re: About withdrawal (single) free attack

If engaged in melee with it, with a weapon ready, the RAW answer is yes. That's how I handled it in the last module, for the benefit of the adventurers. However, it's a double-edged sword, because in the other way it can be deadly for the PCs too. Yep. Unless you are a mid- to high-level warrior, a...

There is also an encounter book, Lairs of Lost Agharta,

The Imperishable Sorceress (which you can find in Chaos Rising) has ties to Lairs, and allows access the the Center via an Adamantine Mole.
