Re: Look what I got in the mail
That artwork on the spine of the regular version made me less sorry for myself for not buying the foil cover as well...then I heard some whisper about the foil version spine. Will the foil cover version be available for a bit at retail launch or was it pre-order only? I know there's a link to it on ...

Found it finally via the PDF and some sorcery/divination.
Goodman and company are a class act. Thanks for everything you guys do.
This is exactly how it should be done. Much respect.

Re: Stomp the typo!
I'll bet the final "errata" on this book ends up being at most a few jots if that. Won't name names but we've seen embarrassing and system-breaking mix-ups from well-funded companies often enough. For a book this big with this much art and this kind of layout to only have a very few little...

Re: Preorders
Yay! Thanks for the update Joseph. And thank you for creating what looks to be a true labor of love and for taking the time to fine-tune and polish this incredible game. I plan to lock myself away for the weekend and pore over this thing fiendishly like I literally haven't since I was 14 and got hol...

Practically holding my breath waiting for the PDF at this point. So excited.
When I see some confirmation about the actual book shipping I'm
gonna go buy some adult diapers.

Re: Zocchi Dice Buyer's Guide
Thanks haiiro for the links and the excellent blog post on the GameScience dice. I had already pretty much decided to just go with a GameScience set of 12 but was planning to get pre-inked, now I think I'll save about 15 bucks and have a wider selection of dice color options and crayon-ink them myse...

This information on the paper stock and the binding quality is the final straw - I am now literally
giddy with anticipation of touching this hallowed tome. This is gonna be a GOOD summer.

Re: Have you found it yet?
I'm really enjoying this mystery, please don't anyone spoil it.
Thinking I'll have to see the foil cover book in person to get it.
I've looked at that image flipped every way and I still only make out
sort-of letters and no words. Good fun though.

Re: Dungeon Alphabet Sells Out...Again!
I'm hoping for a third printing without the "Nice Price" graphic on the front and spine.
Either way I'll be picking up my third copy if it's revised in any manner...bought 2 copies
when I first laid eyes on it so as to give one as a gift.

Re: Any word on the status of the funky dice sets?
I think I'm just gonna spend the $35 for a matching 12-dice set from
GameScience and skip the other dice. I'm just silly enough that if they
don't look the same I don't want em.

Re: Appendix N type movies.
I think it's fascinating that there are so relatively few "proper" swords & sorcery films and we have to quickly venture out into movies with the correct feel but different settings. Anybody seen the low-budget 1970 horror film Equinox ? Kids find a Necronomicon-esque tome and wander i...

My jealousy is a writhing evil.
I have some treasured Arkham House hardcovers and the Ace paperback
Fritz Leiber books and some other older paperbacks (Robert E. Howard
especially) but some of you have got some enviable collections going.
Nice work.

Re: Music of DCC
My first post round here (hey all), this was the thread that grabbed my attention so if anybody still takes a look at this I'd like to say: Black Sabbath, especially first album and Paranoid Uriah Heep, especially Demons & Wizards and The Magician's Birthday Hawkwind, especially Hall Of The Moun...
