I fed into the bloat back in the day. It was until I was an older DM before I said enough.

My party put a lot of beastmen down due to DM fumbles! It works both ways.

My party wants to fireball the farmer in Mask of Death!

Shockingly my players mopped the floor with beastmen. I'm still shocked at the astounding player luck. Only 3 of 12 died.

Mixed alignment parties are a DMs nightmare. I think my players are just rebellious at heart and love taking out their frusrations on the role playing world. It is probably liberating though I will not deny that all of us (me being the keeper) love to be jerks from time to time. I would say being ch...

How about instead of making monks or martial arts a different class than fighter, just make a martial arts version of Mighty Deeds.

It wont be like many of the books that came out when 3rd edition gave the OGL. Some of those were laughable.

With the addition of shield spikes from Crawl 2, the sword and board can get deadly.

To answer Skyscraper, yea our group has been playing off and on since 84. I think you can only act so crazy with a group of guys you have known since childhood. No one takes things too seriuosly. After all, it's only paper. And I am a chaotic judge as well.

Just got through reading it as well. Could not agree with you more on the classes of DCC. I think Mighty Deeds are what initially drew me to the game.

I really hassle players when it is obvious that they are playing out of alignment. Maybe it is assumed that the chaotic PCs are still the good guys and the NPCs are just plain chaotic evil. Having a party of chaotics to me is fun. You should have seen the idiots fighting when someone found the ring ...
