Kickstarter union busting

I've been a big fan of kickstarter even before Goodman Games started running awesome campaigns for the various box sets and reprints. Lately, leadership at Kickstarter has been actively hostile towards employees trying to form a union. They are not the only crowd funding game in town. I would highly...

Re: DCC RPG Slipcase edition

Why not ship it filled with adventures! It would be great for people who already have one (or four) rulebook, but may not have collected all the modules. Maybe add a special edition module or the one from the mystery map contest?!

Re: Free RPG Day 2013

Report from The Wyverns Tale, Asheville NC: The store had two slots for gaming with 5 tables, and they were pretty much at capacity the whole time. I ran TooT with the pregens and my table was full with players pre-registered on the warhorn days before the event! I had two veteran DCCRPG players, tw...

This is on the list, but worth singling out. Its a judge's mat that gives you all the frequently needed judge resources. Its like a screen without the screen:

Re: A DCC "modules in order" campaign

I don't want to get spoiler-y on this thread, but wouldn't the balance blade be problematic for a campaign? AWESOME one-shot, but I wouldn't recommend it for a campaign. If you have to ask why, you haven't read it...

Here is a link to resources the awesome Google+ DCCRPG community has put together:

There may be some repeats, but worth perusing as it is a living document and will be updated as time goes on. 8)

Re: Tales from the Road: My Road Crew experience thus far

By reporting, I don't mean "Then they did this to get past this puzzle/challenge/encounter," I mean just the module, date, venue, what players where there. i.e.:

People of the Pit 3/21/13, FLGS, Player IDs 54324, 54327, 63424, 23563

No spoilers! :)

Also, I made a quick and dirty PDF of the snake tiles for the puzzle. If someone can do better, please do. I make no claims of desktop publishing wizardry:

Re: Pathfinder Society...We need a DCC Society

I mentioned this in the Road Crew thread, but I would like to see at least session reporting like Pathfinder Society. The "living" campaign aspects of organized play never really did much for me, but having a way to report sessions, and swap "war stories" from running the same ad...

77.5 Tower Out of Time

Michael Curtis has done it again! I can't wait to run Tower Out of Time! Not sure if this should be in this discussion or a different one, but I was VERY impressed by the character sheets for the pregens included. Are blanks of those sheets available anywhere? Also, is there one for an elf?

Thanks!

Re: Tales from the Road: My Road Crew experience thus far

I think an online form would be easiest from the GMs side of things. To take Paizo and their Pathfinder Society as an example, players register their characters, and GMs report their games online. This allows players to keep a digital record of their exploits and take their characters from con to co...

Re: Tales from the Road: My Road Crew experience thus far

I've run a total of 8 Road Crew sessions starting from almost the date it was announced in late February. Free RPG day will be my 9th session! I've run several of the DCCRPG modules, usually split into two sessions, and had a great time exposing new players to my favorite RPG! Our FLGS in Asheville,...

I too have a standing order with my FLGS for all modules as they become available. I'm currently reading thru The Sea Queen Escapes, and I think it is my favorite so far. Its hard to choose as they're all really awesome.

Public Play Reporting

Just got my DCC swag from Keith to hand out to DCC players both new and veteran. I'm running a regular weekly game at our FLGS in Asheville, NC - The Wyverns Tale. I was just wondering if there was a way to report games for GMs to get credit and get my hands on that sweet belt buckle! Am I missing s...

Thats perfect! Thanks guys! I made a couple of edits to try and save a bit of paper and make them double-sided. They don't look great, but they'll do in a pinch:

Re: Links to DCC RPG Resources, updated 6/21

With the World Tour http://www.goodman-games.com/worldtour.html getting underway, it would be great to see some table tents for public play that would include the player's name, character's name, and maybe an awesome looking DCCRPG logo. If I had the graphics skills I would make one myself, but sadl...

GeekOut 2012

I'll be running Portal Under the Stars at GeekOut 2012 in Asheville, NC on May 12th.

If you're interested in playing, you can register at the Warhorn site for the event, which conveniently had DCCRPG in their templates already!

Will there be PDFs of the modules as well?

Also, if there were a bundle of PDFs the first few DCCRPG modules (say #67-#74 or so) at a discount/bulk price, I would buy that immediately.
