GURPS - it takes way too long to stat up monsters and NPCs for me to enjoy. And what's up with those one second melee rounds? At least in most d20 games you can do two things in a round (or more when you add other action types like swift action). 4E - this is one instance were I can honestly state I...

I can feel myself inching closer to buying this awesome looking box set.

I gave into temptation last year with DCC #35 and its now the setting of the campaign I'm running.

Maybe I can throw some (not so) subtle hints to my group as a year-end gift for the GM?

I buy both and use both. PDFs: DCC 0, 2, 27, 29 Print: DCC 11, 35 & Dragon Cult Saga I'm cheap, but I'm also sensitive to the overall package. Most adventures are just black and white pages, so printing out pdf copy is not a problem. But on the other hand I really wanted the maps of DCC 35 so I ...

DCCs are on sale about every three or four months on RPGNow. I bought my pdf copy for around half price early this year.

It's all about planning ahead! :)

That's probably my favorite first thing to turn to as well!

If the adventure doesn't have a balance of puzzle, traps and combat encoutners, I'll get bored running it.

That's why DCC #27 and 35A are tops in my book.

As someone who has used the maps in this thread AND is currently running a campaign based in the Lostlands, I second (or is it third?) this idea. Having resources like blank maps at a DMs disposal makes the entire Known Realms setting much more friendly to pick up and use. I feel much better handing...

Isn't there a Dungeon mag adventure from within the past two or three months with this city? A first-level adventure, IIRC? The Dungeon adventure will get you to the site, but doesn't actually include the "Lost City." I'm using it since its a much better intro to the Lost City than was or...

I have a similar question. I'm starting a new campaign and we're kicking it off in Quaysarria. Reading through the GM's book from DCC #35 I noticed the Nalvor and thought they would be good to use. I'm adapting the classic module B4: The Lost City and am thinking about using the Nalvor in place of t...
