I want to say Gamescience but im not 100% sure. Will look around for the packaging if it hasn't been thrown away. I do not think I was very specific when I ordered "I want to order some of your Zocchi dice".
If I can figure out how to take a picture I will.

Re: Gamestation Dice came today and I am sad
Gamestation called today and they will replace the two unusable dice(D24) and helped me deal with the rest. The small cuts are some sort of molding issue and will not be replaced. They are standard is what the guy said. He agreed that they make it VERY hard to ink but shouldnt mess up the roll. The ...

Re: Gamestation Dice came today and I am sad
1- All the dice have had there entire surface cut with something like a box cutter. Every face of the die has 2-6 small thin cuts. I do not think that they will effect the roll, but ugly as all heck. For $30 I would expect nice looking dice. 2- Both 24 siders do have a large broken area that I tried ...

Re: Spells, and what to do with them.... [long]
I'm of a totally different mindset. I do not mind the spells at all and although players do need to copy there spells down all of my players have done so on there own. My wife has her own little spellbook done! The Dice are a deal breaker for many people I have talked to. I just paid $30 for dice,ju...

Gamestation Dice came today and I am sad
:( I have been waiting for my cool wacky dice to get here for three days(no issue with there very fast delivery) and today when I got home the unopened box waited for me in the mailbox! I Hooted and yelled for my son to come and take a look as we opened the box and pulled out the dice. I was a littl...

Re: Halflings & 2 weapons
I normally never use the two weapons give two attacks rules. Whatever bonus a shield gives for AC I give the same bonus but for attack. With that said I do not seem to mind the two attack thing in DCC because of the different dice. No matter that the end result might be the same ...it doesn't bother...

Re: Monster exp done yet?
I give 1 exp per HP of the creature. I also give 1 exp per gold spent to everyone. Keep in mind that so far gold is few and far between and the only time the party has seen a whole lot of it,they had no way to retrieve it all. They filled up there pockets and pouches but not one of em even had a back...

Re: Post your characters
In real life I know a guy who works as a Carpenter who can't read a tape for $%$%. He hates to hammer for long periods of time and sucks at judging if something is level. He can however play the guitar and piano like a God. I guess it isn't just in games that people do not always play to there stren...

Seeing in the dark is a pain in the arse. Lose it!
As you descend down the shadowy stairs the moonlight streams down from above revealing a passageway leading off into the darkness. Elf character so whats down there? Do I see any prints in the dust or what?
BAH!!

Re: Darkmoor my Setting for DCC
The reason I bring this up is I wonder what the average setting for you guys is? Are we all defaulting to a D&Dish setting or should we try for something further off the beaten path with DCC?

Darkmoor my Setting for DCC
So I was creating a setting on the fly and wanted something different. Less standard fantasy and more swords and sorcery. I came up with Darkmoor by taking Blackmoor(the first setting for rpg's) and turning it inside out. Adding in a lot of Elric and Conan and a little bit of the lord of the rings. ...

Re: Just reading through the rules and I am loving the DCC R
And in reference to Monopoly, he succeeded perfectly since no one plays Monopoly by the Rules As Written. Err there are other rules to use? We always use the rules out of the box! I never thought of it but with games im just not a rules making kinda guy. I tend to use the games as written. In respe...

My view of DCC before and after playing it for three games
I downloaded the Beta the night it was released and the next morning woke up to a printed out copy. I read it from cover to cover and was VERY disappointed. It did NOT look good. Too many hard bashing players over the head rules and it looked to be a mix of the worst rules I had ever read from both ...

Monster exp done yet?
Been off on vacation and just got back. Has monster exp been stated yet? I played while I was gone and just gave 1 exp per hp of monsters killed and 1 exp per gold spent. I really liked the 1 EXP per gold spent as it not only made the players money grubbing greedy bastards but who would cut there ow...

On one hand Lawful is good and Chaos Evil No, they aren't. but on the other sometimes chaos is good and lawful can be evil. No, they aren't. Law and Chaos have nothing to do with what is good or evil. And besides, the players aren't heroes (see the chapter 1 title page) so what do they care about b...

Re: Monster XP
With the threshold of achieving level 1 being 100 experience points, I wonder if the DCC RPG was meant to be used with the pre-3e XP rules. You know the sliding scale, 5 XP for a 1 HD monster, 15 for a 2 HD monsters, and so on and so forth, although I don't know if what values I have posted are ent...

Re: Monster XP
Well it can have a huge impact. I would think that the exp's for monsters in DCC would more than not reflect AD&D's instead of 3.5 but what if im wrong.
I doubt I am but heck I have been wrong before!

Re: reposting this here ion the right area! Blank Pages...
Law and Chaos as alignments are very Appendix N...I'd recommend reading some Moorcock... The Chronicles of Corum are a quick read. I have read them. In them Law and chaos are not good and evil. That seems to be the way DCC is leaning and thats fine but I find other references in the Beta where they...

Re: Mighty Deeds of Arms Question
As everyone is trying to tell you...
is wrong!!
You roll a 1D3 for that level NOT 1D20. So you would only be able to do your special move 1/3 of the time (that you hit) and if there were no other mods.
-roll above a 3 on a d20 (usually a d20)
