The renovation of DCC #21

Not saying it needs any work, its fine as it is, but my Players are tired of me running more DCCs than my own stuff, so as I'd already written Stozari into my campaign, I'm going to heavily revise #21 so they wont complain as much when I use #22. Stozari herself has the least change...she's changing...

oi, remembered one problem we had with the mysterious tower... The 'Wight Knight', horrible pun by the way, was buried with a solid gold breastplate weighing 30 lbs. Assuming it is solid gold, 30 lbs of just gold is worth 1500 gp by the 'weight of money' listings, but the breastplate is valued at 50...

In mine, I decided, well, he's assigned to serve for 1001 years. It's been 1000. The PCs waited, even threw him a going away party ^_^ Honestly, with the wizard THAT long dead, he just didnt care about the treasure anymore, but a deal's a deal.

Latest 'DCC World' wackyness...

In the game I'm running, which involves a fair number of DCC module areas, the PCs recently went to the sinking tower of the 'Dungeon Interludes' module, and faced down Tarfoot the dragon. At 17 HP he begged for his life...and to his (and my) surprise, the PCs not only spared him, let him keep his h...

ya...considering it only needs a BIT of an up-kick in difficulty, just changing the race of all the kobolds (and possibly derro, possibly not) to orcs would do just fine. Maybe advance Roe a HD in Abberation, maybe not.

If you're up for tweaking to increase difficulty, try the Lost Vault of Tsathzar Rho, DCC #2. It's a twisted disturbing dungeon, with 'great evil looming' overtones. Area 3-1 is normally a breeding chamber for unholy horrors, the victims far too gone to save, but perhaps in your case the Dwarves cou...

Found my copy of DCC #14, and got to thinking, it wouldent be hard to put a sinking tower somewhere, and perhaps Skullshank will force the PCs to return to the zigguraut where they defeated the lizardman lord....because he intends to summon the very baatezu lord that the lizardman failed to...

When I upgraded Kyleth to lv 8 for my party, I gave her Otliuke's Resiliant Sphere...it was great fun. She knew the party's general tactics beforehand so when she got initiative, she put the sorcerer in a bubble. Next round, the combat crazy dwarf in a bubble, then started trying to Sleep people...w...

I just use what's convenient...I was looking for some way to stall the players so they'd have more levels on em before going after the leader of the evil lizardmen backed by demons in a swamp...when oh look, a module involving evil lizardmen, with demons, in a swamp.

DCC #17: The Revenge of the Witch Queen: Now it's personal.

My PCs romped through DCC 17, killed Kyleth, took the book, tossed the skull into the Maw, hocked the gems (BIG mistake, heh heh heh...) and went back to their base (the Mysterious Tower tower, now with interior switch!) Full moon comes, Kyleth revives...right in front of the Sorcerer, who had just ...

I don't suppose you could give me MORE background on Immolus and whatnot? One of my PCs is a fire-aholic so in preparation to run this module in a few months I gave him a prophetic dream of basixcally immolus asking him if he wanted power then him waking up... Well, now he DOES want power, after fig...

According to the latest Game Trade magazine, DCC #25 is The Dread Crypt of Srihoz, for lvs 9-11, and involves the crypt of an anient and deadly vampire. DCC #26 is The Scaly God, for 4-6. A tribe of goblinoids has demolished sand taken over an important trade stronghold...but the damage is far too g...

Funny, was just about to post about DCC #19. My party's gonna be going into it a few levels higher than it's for (about 9-10ish) and I was wondering if you had any suggestions for buffinf things? One that occured to me, was, Immy grants Ziz 3 wishes a day. 3 wishes = +3 inherent to a stat. so assume...

Legacy of the Savage Kings...map scale?

What's the official scale for the map of Legacy of the Savage Kings? It seems to vary based on area...I assumed it was square = 5 feet because of the animated statue (man sized) taking up a single square, but the forge area seems WAY to small, specially with an ogre running around...

DCC #12...question about the Diamond

So, the PCs are down in the tomb, facing against the Devourer, and one of them, in desperation, grasps the Diamond Caprice, and thinks the name of the saint whos death and valor created it in the first place... There's no rules etc to prevent it, and its not inconcieveable a player would try it at s...

DCC #0...not what I expected

So, we got the module in today and I flipped through it...it's not at all what I expected...the Ogre's a runt, the PCs have ludicrous ability scores (and one even has a magic weapon!), Sure there's more going on, but its not nearly the 'utterly ill-equiped' thing it sounded like, when two people are...

Its properties are essentially while looking like a child's toy, it has excellent balance and functions as a +2 Ironwood Longsword, and the Ironwood's permanant. If you want to go with the 'powerful' thing beyond the fact that items like that dont even normally exist, pick up Weapons of Legacy, make...

I'll let you know once the PCs finally get around to it. I'm still setting up the Volcano Caves adventure. One of the PCs casts absolutely. nothing. but. Fire. Spells. DCC #21-#22 Question about Stozari's class levels

I got this module and was going to do some minor adaptations for my game world, I noticed Stozari has 4 druid levels. Are these levels important for anything she has to do in DCC #22, or would it be safe to change them to Cleric levels? My campaign world has a NE Water Goddess who would be a perfect...
