Re: Xcrawl & Fourth Edition
Has anyone here done a XCrawl/D&D4 conversion? I'm looking for a suitable setting for our D&D4 game, and XCrawl seems to be made for 4th. Honestly theres not much overall conversion... except for the casters. If you and your players are working together that is. Like I pointed out above, th...

Re: What do you want to see next?
I want to see Xcrawl move into its future a bit. just 15-20 years. Ron is Gone, William the first becomes the first Emperor to be actually ousted by the nobles and George the Second now sits uneasily on the throne of a cracked empire. Rebellion is smoldering in the west and the nobles are emboldened...

Re: Xcrawl & Fourth Edition
To a greater extent, this is a great match. The combat mechanics are made for each other, but the classes will need a serious rewrite. The way charcaters use powers in 4e as opposed to the standard spell works extrmely well and keeps my game going, but the lack of variety in the same powers points o...

the wish list
actually pretty simple. since the basic Xcrawl is stuck in the NAE, maybe a mythological background for the continent. At least since the flood. Also a more definitive nature of the NAE culture. Its a poorly made mish mash with no boundaries. and no boundaries = chaos. Also, while its modern, it can...

2nd exception (at least in my world): a 'Heel' character would try to loot a bad guy. Not every one, but if there was a chance to really increase his rep.... well thats what heels do. :) I had one who chopped off the horns of a bad guy who was down... but not dead. then he mounted them on his helm! ...

Ideas I had
Some Ideas I had in my storyline were: Xcrawl becoming an Olympic sport, with teams from all over the world to compete Aztec/Mayan/Amero Indian dungeons (to take advantage of a rules loophole in Xcrawl where items gained from 'honest adventure' maybe used - since they were not bought) A succession w...

Book?
what is the possibility of an Xcrawl novel? Rather like the other AD&D projects, most have at least one book to their name. Since I am a writer, I was actually tackling it myself as a personal project, but I'd put more Umphh into it if there was an actual possibility of, oh say making some gold ...
