How has wotc killed roleplay? Hmm.. It not a difficult to see the d20 is a results driven game. i.e. Die results... If I need to negotiate a new deal with the king .. I don't have to be creative and come up with a reason.. I just have to roll a die and see. I am not saying all dms play it this way b...

Well I think.....

Boy that is a subject to get me into trouble...... Personally I am disenfranchised with WOTC and 4ed.. I do play online but am not much of a MMorpg player. I have played but it is not my choice of games. That being said D&D is no longer my choice of roleplaying game. I know I am not alone in mak...

But you are looking at this from the Dungeon crawl side of it only.... There is a whole other side, play up to the crowd.. Wow the men and woo the women.. and your group has none of that.. While they might complete the dungeon, they would probably score low. It is an option to complete more of it th...

Also remember of the selections you said only 4 of the above.... So I would rather have my bases covered with multiple personaes able to do the same things .. You know just in case.... Xcrawls tend to be more lethal... Jsut because the danger factor is amped up... You have people actively working ag...

Re: What PCs would you like to see?

But then you lose access to 3rd level spells. Keep it Sorcerer 6/Rogue 1, definitely. Gotta ask what 1- 3rd level spells do you just have to have? and I f you have to have third level spells then a sorc 7 is preferable. weigh 1 spell, +1 WP save vs Evasion --- and double the skill points...and on a...

The above guy is your Trapfinder/Blaster, you could even go 5Sorc/2Rog If you are worried about Skillpoints.

I'd like to see a contest from Goodman-Games. 500 words or less best themed room.. It could be something from state history.. famous tv shows etc..to include in your x crawl game. Just one room contest.. Like red shirts must die.... (Star trek) or the ok corral etc etc... I'd like to see some of tha...

Actually you could go one further, and divide the total score bt the number of players post it here and you could crown a team champion and an idividual champion for the given year. You could also have someone create monthly/quarterly crawls. To be scored. Post them as a freebie here, for one month....

I do have a campaign question.

Ok a couple of them actually.... 1) when a group of crawlers. Conquer a room, and the treasure "pops" up. I have played it like Monty Hall..For victory over the Flim-flam room of death. The crawler a Lito-Fray masterwork paring knife. Suitable for cutting the cheese for that intimate night...

Xcrawl True20

First let me say as a recent inductee to Xcrawl world. There is nothing more irreverant and totally funny while maintaining that "I am going to punch you in the head!" mentality than Xcrawl.. Love the world. A very original idea. That being said it's the d20 aspect of it I don't like. Let ...
