Sell me on 2nd Age of Walkers!

Come tomorrow afternoon, I shall be ordering 2nd Age of Walkers for the this wonderful game line. While I plan on getting it anyways, regardless of what's said here, I would like some opinions on the thing: It's good points, it's bad points, so on and so forth. --bit by bit, I'm slowly collecting th...

I'd like to see some of the fearsome feats you mention. It's a fine writeup, but to be honest, it doesn't have the creepy asymmetrical quasi-Cthulhu edge I'd want from a lunar creature. It's just a swarm, although a clever one that can open locks and disable devices. Sorry about the long delay, but...

A note about the antfolk's racial skill bonuses: These things are HUNGRY, perpetually hungry. To stop eating is the same to them as to stop living. As a result, they have gotten very, very good at bypassing locks, traps, and other obstacles to getting to the food they need so badly. --and like all a...

The antfolk

Last night, an idea hit me for a lunar race, and it's an odd one, at that. The antfolk are a race of Fine-sized ant-like humanoids with the Swarm and Lunar subtypes. They're fierce warriors, who desire only to expand their colonies, mindlessly consuming natural resources, heedless of the cost to the...

I'd be interested in helping out. Those ideas sound cool, and I'd be interested in working on rules for an "organic" or "living" mech. Welcome aboard! Any particular things you want? Prestige classes are a bit of a specialty with me, as is equipment. I could work on a "weap...

Actually the Second Age of Walkers doesn't have a lot in the way of specific deities and religions. I have a vague recollection of 2 or 3 deities being specifically named and their spheres being given, but I don't even remeber what section of the book it was in. Mech Manual lists 8 gods, has a smal...

Personally, I love incredibly specialized rules, for the same reasons Mr. Goodman likes them: They add an incredible amount of flavor to a setting. Me, I'd love to see even more incredibly specialized rules for DragonMech . After all, when I make up a mech jockey from the Legion, I'd like to make an...

Has the Gas Spore (beholder look-alike) appeared in 3E yet? Yes, in The Tome of Horrors I. Similar lookalikes could have powers that surprise the expert character (and player) -- how about a troll-shaped bipedal plant that is stimulated to divide or to release spores or seeds when subjected to fire...

There need to be epic rules for DragonMech. Mechs the size of mountains, and lunar monsters that make even gods afraid, baybee!

Mech Manual has the names of a few gods in it (in the Iron Choir description), and although I don't own it, and can not say for certain one way or the other, I'd imagine the new Highpoint sourcebook would have info in it on the gods of the 4 main cultures. --it'll be interesting to see what gods th...

Plant mechs and ooze mechs

I have an idea, but it'd be good if others here could help me out a bit. Basically, my idea is two new types of mechs: Plant mechs, grown by the myconids, and ooze mechs, the aboleth version of undead mechs. I'm wanting to get some idea tossed back and forth, stir the pot a little, and see what floa...
