Re: Anything else?
That's a shame. I ran my Monday group through a Pathfinder-ized version of WFF#2 as a side quest in our Serpent's Skull campaign a couple of months ago and we had a great time.

Re: Storytime - Palace in the Wastes
Finished this the week before last in a very fun session. The heroes had obtained shellcracker and were well prepared for Yephaiel when they fought him, taking him down in 3 or 4 rounds. Being drawn into the Well rather caught them on the hop, however, and they had a mcuh tougher time with the Hand ...

Re: Storytime - Palace in the Wastes
Oops, never got round to keeping this up to date, and we've been playing this module for over three months. Might well finish tomorrow though. In the last session the heroes had just killed Bullba and Shaviss. Madeline's player left the group due to moving in RL and so the kobold druid is now a supp...

Re: Castle Whiterock milestone
The groups is now clearing out the Demonhold, it's good to be past all the duergar stuff finally as we all felt a bit bogged down by the end. The monk was scouting ahead and spied the pitfiend drinking smoking water. He assumed that it was having to drink holy water as some kind of punishment and cr...

Re: Castle Whiterock milestone
So yesterday they plundered the Wizard's redoubt. Using speak with dead they talked to Pelltar and found out what the Demonhold is, they're planning to go there next. Marcus the Paladin (of Justicia) is currently wearing mithral full plate +3, he was intrigued by the suit in the attic and tried it o...

Re: Supporting multiple systems within the DCC's
I haven't bought any Goodman Games products since the End of Edition sale. Original content for the Pathfinder RPG would change that.

Re: Castle Whiterock milestone
They may go straight on to the Burning Maze next as they're convinced the Demonhold entry is a portal to Hell, in which case the levels would be right. Depends on how brave they are I guess..

Re: Castle Whiterock milestone
Last week the group had their confrontation with Thane Hrolad Vejik. The Thane was backed up by Gora-Khan and Gunrolz, both of whom had been using hit-and-run tactics against the group for a while now. It was a short but vicious battle, but the Thane managed to escape through the phase door. Gunrolz...

Re: Castle Whiterock milestone
Last night my group cleared out most of Carapace Fissure. They found and opened the entrance to the Demonhold, but convinced themselves it was a literal portal to Hell and were too scared to descend.

Re: Castle Whiterock milestone
Too bad about poor Talladay, though. Poor little halfling... Funny you should say that, my group didn't really bond with him, and weren't particularly sad when he died. Plus, if he hadn't been around, they would have been able to just use word of recall to go from Koborth's Tomb to the Fane of Just...

Re: Castle Whiterock milestone
This plan appeals to me because they've been taking Galdeira for granted a bit and it uses that against them. Also, unless they spot the deception and rescue Galdeira quicksmart, I figure that the Pack will be holding her captive and brainwashing her, until she falls victim to Stockholm syndrome and...

Re: Castle Whiterock milestone
Oh, and I finally figured out how to use the Pack of the Night-Wolf. My first plan was to have them ambush the party outside of the Fane of Justicia when they were low on spells and resources, with a veil spell from Johan making them all look like Gora-Khan (who they really, really hate and are obss...

So can he use his enlarge person ability to become huge? Enlarge person says that multiple magical effects that increase size don't stack, does the shapechanging count as a magical effect?

Another question:
Is it correct that the duergar priest / werebat is large in hybrid form? Is this because he is a were-dire bat?

Palace in the Wastes question.
The players in my Sunday night game have almost escaped from Heroes End and I'm thinking of running them through this next.
What doesn't seem to be clear in the module is how long is the shaft that connects Level 2 to Level 3?

Re: Castle Whiterock milestone
Also here's a near-death experience one of my players had that I thought I'd share. Thanatos the Cleric and Rikki the monk are facing off against the Mercenary Enchanter (who has been souped up a little). He's hit them with a lightning bolt, which did full damage to Thanatos but nothing to Rikki (da...

Re: Castle Whiterock milestone
RIP Timmykins, CG human Barbarian 12. The party were pursuing a gaseous form Gora-Khan by using wind walk to try and track the vampire back to his coffin, as he's been plaguing them for some time now. Unfortunately the undead hobgoblin led them through the shooting gallery and the Mercenary Enchante...
