Re: modules that easily fit on the Purple Planet?
I'm going to start with the 0 level funnel. What DCC adventures fit well on the Purple Planet with just minor tweaking needed? Any suggestions? One Who Watches Emerald Enchanter Tower out of Time Frozen in Time (party of the beastman things...can't remember their names) Colossus Arise off the top o...

Re: Hi! New member here
Thanks everyone :) We're in the middle of some adventuring in Frog God Games Lost Lands setting, using the Blood & Treasure rules, but when we have a natural "break" in that campaign, I'll throw them into "Sailors". I'd throw them into Doom of the Savage Kings first (even th...

The Tribe of Ogg and the Gift of Suss
Hey, Daniel Bishop wrote this stone age thing back before we knew Frozen in Time was coming. I promised him we'd put it together and get it out there...three years ago... And here it is. Enjoy this free 0-level adventure -- excellent lead in to Frozen in Time. http://mysticbull.blogspot.com/2015/08/...

Re: The Style Guide
Hi all, We at The Keep Studios are close to publishing our first 3PP module, and we've been looking around to see if anyone had advice on editing. There are two things in the Style Guide that have us scratching our heads. First, Un-dead: We think the intent here is that players should not take unde...

Re: How do you work with events that require weeks of time?
I use an actual calendar in my games -- even if we handwave a week of recovery, I take note of it on the calendar. This allows me to set timeframes for certain things that are out of the character's control -- for instance, they released an undead general and his horde from the Barrowmaze. The gener...

Re: DCC Annual: Content Wish List
I think Monks are a no armor melee specialist class who focuses on enemy disruption over damage not cleric at all. The Ki and healing stuff is the worst interpretation of my favorite fantasy class. Check out my monk write up in the character thread or on the google+ group. Druid is more of a wizard...

Re: Appendix N - after 1978.
The Gonji series is very Appendix N. A samurai comes to Eastern Europe to kill a sorcerer. Gets transported to crazy places and fights crazy monsters. The "fish out of water" vibe that Appendix N does so well is heavily evident... http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51uul4wMWPL._SY344_BO...

Aga-Krul -- The Fearless Ally
The pre-historic campaign expands apace! The characters have delved deeper into the ancient dwarven steading where they found that the children of the Destroyer of Worlds, Qo, the Twin-Headed Snake, still reside. The session was classic Appendix N and DCC. The characters had to leap a 15' span to a ...

I like the sheet -- love that you used the slot-based encumbrance system (one of my faves). There's a system described in that mega-module, whereby the adventurers can obtain information -- maybe historical scrolls, rubbings from carvings on the walls, etc. and that the information has value with certain factions ou...

Re: clericless dcc
You can do DCC without clerics. To "reclaim" the lost class functionality, just have a collection of patrons that provide the cleric special abilities as patron spells -- or rewards for service or higher Patron Bond results, etc. Problem solved. The "priest" is dedicated to a sup...
