Re: Castle Whiterock milestone
Hi, I've been running CW for our C&C campaign for a few months now. This is the most successful party we've run through it yet. We tried before and TPK'd on the first floor (using D&D3.5) and had another wipeout on the fourth floor (using Pathfinder Beta). I was worried that a group playing ...

4th of July and DCC#31
For the Fourth we decided to have some friends over and play C&C. After rolling up the characters and joking around for a couple hours we got down to some serious dungeon crawling. The players expected to meet in a stereotypical fashion; either in the bazaar or a tavern. When both turned out to ...

Cool show and all, but I doubt it is a legitimate answer to these questions.

Re: Swashbuckler vs Samurai
The movie I just watched was called "La Femme Musketeer" produced by Hallmark Entertainment. I think it was a mini series or something as it was 3 hours long. As expected it has a classic Hallmark ending. But there were a few fight scenes which made the movie enjoyable and the rest wasnt t...

Those movies are awesome!
P.S. I came up with this puzzling train of thought watching a musketeer movie.

Re: What are your top ten DCC modules?
My top five would be the ones converted to C&C.
The # 6-10 would then be:
6)Castle Whiterock
7)Gazeteer of the Known Realms
8 )Sunken Ziggurat
9)The Adventure Begins
10)Cage of Delirium

Re: How big is your group?
We have had various sizes over the years. Started out (as far as D&D3E goes) 2 players and a DM. Then we got three players and a DM going. The next year we had five regular players and two sometimes players and a DM. Last year we shrank back down to four players, all showing up regularly, and a ...

How about redoing those late DCCs that came out during the run up to 4e? I think those were undeservedly overlooked by the gaming public in general.

Re: What are you playing?
Finished off the Castle Whiterock campaign for Pathfinder with a TPK. Just got Towers of Adventure last week so C&C is back up and underway (you know, we could use another C&C adventure here) Everyone has their superhero rolled up for Heroes Unlimited so we are about to commence a campaign f...

Re: Idea for additional C&C modules
I would love to see another C&C adventure! How about: #44 Dreaming Cavern o the Duergar #50 Vault of the Iron Overlord or #52 Chronicles of the Fiend mostly because these came out post-4e announcements and I think were undeservedly overlooked as a result and may yet make a good run as a C&C ...

Re: DCC #51 - Castle Whiterock - game report [spoilers]
I think we may have reached the end of our Whiterock crawl. We went through the secret entrance from Sinister Secret (lost a PC halfling rogue that fell down the central shaft when she didnt make her Str check). On across the clockwork academy (missed a room or two down the laundry shafts but otherw...

Re: What are you playing?
A Pathfinder game using Castle Whiterock with my regular gaming group. (level 5)
A C&C game with just family. (used all the GG1-5 modules) on hold now until Towers of Adventure come out and we will try it out.
Just finished a Mutants and Masterminds (1E) campaign.

They weren't mutinous. They were disappointed. And it's not like I took the first opportunity to run out and stomp on them. They hit that army full-on twice. I don't know if they either forgot or just lucked through, but usually they camped at good times and places. This was not one of them. In a bo...
