Announcing Fifth Edition Fantasy #16: The Cave of the Unknown

You never know what you’ll find in a cave. Especially an unknown cave.

Thankfully, we have Michael Curtis, the writer behind Fifth Edition Fantasy #16: The Cave of the Unknown. And what do we know about this cave? Spiders. Big, ugly, nasty spiders. So maybe we should stay out of it.

Oh, who are we kidding? The spiders are sure to be friendly, right? That’s why we’ve made The Cave of the Unknown available for pre-order!

The Cave of the Unknown is an old-fashioned dungeon crawl designed for modern fifth-edition game mechanics. It is intended for a party of four to six 3rd-level PCs. The adventure can be easily inserted into any campaign or used as part of the Into the Borderlands reprint.

In this adventure, the party explores the eponymous Cave, a network of natural caverns housing the Primordial Spring, a font of primeval power. The Spring was previously used by the alchemist Zoorl looking to complete his magnum opus, the Azoth Stone, an object capable of bestowing immense wealth and longevity on its owner. If the adventurers are lucky, they might be able to capitalize on the alchemist’s life’s work.

Fifth Edition Fantasy #16: The Cave of the Unknown is a level 3 adventure for 5e, written by Michael Curtis and a cover by David Griffith. It is scheduled for release on June 17th, 2019.
